Plan a visit
Ninety minutes from Melbourne, a world away.
Everything you need to know before you point the car east.
Getting here
About 105 km / 90 minutes east of Melbourne via the Princes Highway and the Noojee–Neerim Road. There is no public transport — bring a car.
When to go
Spring and autumn for the walks and waterfalls, winter for the drive up to Baw Baw, summer for the river. Check fire ratings before travelling on hot days.
Reception & supplies
Mobile coverage is improving but still patchy in the forest. There’s no fuel in Noojee itself — top up at the Neerim Junction general store on the way in. Food and camping supplies are in town.
